For a slightly longer outing, head to Hagaparken by bike or take a walk through Vasastan. This beautiful and expansive park offers wide green spaces, scenic walking paths, and lovely picnic spots by the water, perfect for a relaxing day outdoors with the family. Visit the Butterfly House or enjoy a coffee in the sun at Koppartälten with views of Hagaparken.
From Villa Dahlia, it takes about 25 minutes by bus or metro plus a short walk to reach Norra Djurgården, where Stora Skuggan 4H farm is located. At this cosy farm, children can get close to animals such as goats, sheep, rabbits, and horses. Stroll around in a peaceful setting, pet the animals, and experience farm life right in the middle of the city. In spring, the farm truly comes to life and becomes a favorite destination for the whole family.
During spring, Kungsträdgården transforms into pink. It’s a magical place for all ages, perfect for a walk, photography, or enjoying an ice cream in the sun while the children play. The blossoms usually appear in April, depending on the weather, creating a vibrant and delightful spring atmosphere in the city.
